Dr. Jasveen S. Wadia is a highly trained periodontist and dental implant specialist with TCD Specialty Group, a division of Total Care Dental & Orthodontics. Born and raised in Escondido, California, Dr. Wadia was inspired to pursue dentistry at an early age through his mother’s more than 30 years in clinical practice.
He completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience. Dr. Wadia earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California and later returned to USC to pursue advanced specialty training in Periodontology and Dental Implantology. During his specialty training, he also earned a Master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology, focusing his research on innovative treatment of multiple gingival recession defects using the Vestibular Incision Subperiosteal Tunnel Access (VISTA) technique.
Throughout his training at USC, Dr. Wadia received extensive education in biomimetic and cosmetic dentistry and consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning the Dean’s List Award every semester while actively treating patients. He was also deeply involved in service and outreach, volunteering with the USC Mobile Dental Clinic to provide care to children in underserved communities, serving the homeless population at the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles, and participating in a USC Dental Humanitarian mission to Kenya to deliver dental care to underserved populations.
Dr. Wadia’s dedication to research and innovation was recognized through multiple awards at the USC Annual Research Day in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, he was also selected as a recipient of the Academy of Osseointegration Foundation Travel Grant Award in Washington, D.C. These experiences have helped shape his thoughtful, evidence-based, and patient-focused approach to periodontal and implant care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wadia enjoys traveling, staying active, and following sports. He is an avid racquetball player and welcomes others to join him for a friendly match. Dr. Wadia is dedicated to building lasting relationships with his patients and providing the highest level of care through precision, education, and trust.
